See the TRAILER here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1Y2uXjsKjs

Saw the New Year’s Eve movie quite early in a theater where my seat is like a couch I was able to watch like I'm just marathon-ing HIMYM season 5. Well, there’s a lot to say about this movie, aside from--that it's better than Valentines Day. Also, it has a power cast—Josh Duhamel (one of the orgasmos in HW), then there’s Jessica Biel, Katherin Heigl (still looked the same bitch as always), Sarah Jessica Parker (whom I felt like the same character in Sex and the City transported to this movie), Ashton K, (in his usual ragged and dirty pajamas image), Lea Michele (a groupie), Zack Efron (who gained weight), Halle Berry, Robert De Niro (who is shockingly older), Hilary Swank (did she have teeth surgery?), Michelle Pfieffer, Halle Berry (is my spelling right?), Bon Jovi (super hot), Ryan Seacrest! and my most favorite, Sofia Vegara... and othersss so many!

The stories didn't have much complicated plots. Each character's life was represented fairly in the story. I felt warmth while watching it because it was full of energy and hope, not to mention the pretty fast transitions which quite worked out because there are too many characters to fit in a single movie. Nevertheless, I am not really an expert movie critique so I'm just gonna talk about my realizations (like a college student writing a reaction paper, just write whatever)

The movie made me realize three things: one, how I’m not alone in feeling miserable that someone had to break my heart all the time (because I let them), two, that happiness can be found everywhere, if you only take time to look and appreciate every person you can be with, whether it may be a stranger, an elder woman, people you came across the elevator, your teenage crush, a boy who delivers your parcel everyday, a family in a bus you hitched with, crazy friends, new born babies, a concerned mother, a long-lost love, a father, a dying man or even a person away from you at the other side of the world.

Third and the most piercing of all, that “Every New Year is a second chance”…
To forgive, to do better, to give more, to be happier, to love again.

These two are my favorite characters in the story!

We don’t know how many else people in our lives would hurt us or make us feel in the verge of losing ourselves. We wouldn’t really know. I didn’t. We all have these moments in our lives when we have to suffer, to lose, to be hurt, so after that we would only be stronger to stand up once again and rebuild ourselves with the things that we lost.

2011 has been a struggling year, but we’ve always hoped for the better and the best for ourselves. To 2012 and beyond, we stop being scared, continue to live and have faith on goodness, countless possibilities and myriad of opportunities to discover the world, be brave, live out of fear and comfort, because the most worthwhile things in this world, are those we are most afraid of.

See the movie! A must-watch!
